Success: 4x state champion, state records in the 100 free, 200 free, and 100 fly. Junior National Champion in the 100 fly, Junior World Champion as the fly leg of the USA’s 4×100 meter medley relay.
Favorite quote: “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.” -Vince Lombardi
Most impactful people: I look up to athlete like Joe Schooling, Townley Haas, and Caeleb Dressel for pushing the limits of the sport. Megan Olson and Kevin Weldon are the two most influential coaches, without them I wouldn’t be where I am today and not only them but my teammates, parents, and the national junior team staff have helped shape me into the athlete and person I am today and couldn’t be more grateful.
Favorite sports memory: The last race at junior world championships when came back from behind to out touch the Italians and Russians for the gold medal.
The future: I want to become an NCAA champion and Olympian. In 10 years I see myself as a successful business owner and athlete hopefully giving back and changing not only the world, but the sport of swimming.
