Leading the SWBL in assists and 2nd in the league for both goals and points. James was named Southwestern Buckeye League Co-Player of the Year, First Team All-League, First Team All-District, and All-State.

The 2017-2018 Athletic Proving Grounds “Athlete of the Year” was Cody Bybee, a state champion swimmer from Bellbrook. Bellbrook’s strength & conditioning program received a $1,000 check.
