“Power Athlete” is a program for power & strength focused athletes of all ages specializing in developing athletes focused on strength & power and also providing sport specific coaching in throwing events (schedule below).

About Kelsey:
I’ve been in sports my whole life starting with soccer when I was 5. I competed in track all throughout middle school and high school as a short sprinter. However, my freshman year I was converted into a shot putter and never looked back. I’ve now been doing shot put for 8 years and competed on Ball State’s Track & Field team. My freshman year in college, I was converted from “glide” into “rotation”. I had no discus background so was learning completely from scratch. Along with throwing, I’ve been lifting for 8 years and hold various records at Ball State for lifting in power/hang clean, bench, squat and deadlift.

From all my hard work and dedication, I currently hold both the indoor and outdoor records at Ball State in shot put that stood for 20 years prior. I’m a 4 time MAC qualifier and 3x MAC placer. One of my proudest achievement is placing 2nd at indoor MAC 2019 and receiving 2nd team All-MAC. And throwing a lifetime best of 15.33m (50ft 3.5in). My journey with shot put and lifting wasn’t always easy however it was always worth it. I’m here to coach and inspire that you can do anything you set your mind to with the right mindset, technique and dedication. Most importantly, you gotta believe in yourself.

Olympic Lifting, Powerlifting & Strongman
Monday through Thursdays
4-5:15pm, 5:30-6:45pm

Shot & Disc throw training
Monday through Thursdays
7-8pm

Other times:
Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 OL, PL, SM
Thursdays 9:30-10:30 S & D throw training
Sundays 6-7pm “Throwers Night” S&D training

Cost:
$150 per month for unlimited access to all workouts and training

$25 drop-in

$75 per session personal training
